Lamezia Airport passenger figures increase to over 2 million
With the goal of over 2 million passengers arriving into Calabria through Lamezia Airport in 2011 this was confirmed in late 2011. The airport has continued to introduce further measures to make sure the number of passenger arrivals in Lamezia next year also increases.
With new flights from Alitalia, Ryanair, Easyjet, Air One and a number of other airlines the airport authority foresee a future jump in arrivals to Lamezia from many new European destinations.
With an upgrade due for the airport, new VIP lounges, many more flights and other facilities have been introduced making the airport an important and busy route in International travel.
